Professional journey

When it came to choosing my path in life, I prioritized finding meaning and purpose in my work. Consequently, I tried joining a military doctor program in Lyon, but my spontaneous attempt fell short. Redirecting my efforts to Grenoble, I pursued admission to a medical program through another competitive process open to all medical professions. However, my overly perfectionist attitude led me to spend too much time on rote memorization of some subjects, at the expense of others. Despite attempts over two years, my grades remained uneven. As I approached the numerus clausus, I had the opportunity to pursue an engineering curriculum at Polytech Grenoble. I was enrolled in a special class where I completed a single year of preparatory study for the engineering field instead of the traditional two years. With high grades, I had the freedom to choose my next academic path without constraints. I opted to focus my career trajectory towards mathematics and computer science. Consequently, I obtained an engineering diploma in statistics and computer science from Polytech Lille at Villeneuve d'Ascq. As my engineering studies progressed, I found myself increasingly drawn to artificial intelligence due to its potential societal impact. This growing passion led me to undertake a graduate project during my studies, collaborating with EDF R&D to optimize a deep convolutional neural network for predicting energy consumption using meteorological and calendar data. Subsequently, I pursued a research internship at the University of Luxembourg, where I constructed a sophisticated environment to apply reinforcement learning techniques aimed at optimizing responses to limitations during an epidemic crisis, taking into account both sanitary and economic criteria. Through a collaboration between the University of Clermont-Auvergne and Pollen Metrology, I am currently engaged in optimizing a physical process through artificial intelligence in partnership with a semiconductor company. Based in the Grenoble area, I am developing a machine learning routine in a generic manner and applying it through the collaboration. It allows me to test and implement various strategies, including deep learning techniques. Additionally, it immerses me in a software development environment where I endeavor to enhance the data science framework supporting a software product developed by Pollen Metrology.
